He has particular experience with D&B, EPC, and BOT project structures in both national and international settings. A key focus of his work is early dispute avoidance through standing boards and structured dispute resolution mechanisms.
As a publicly appointed and sworn expert for construction price determination and settlement in structural and civil engineering as well as FIDIC conditions, he prepares expert opinions for courts, arbitration panels, banks, private entities, and public authorities.

Robert A. Werth holds a degree in civil engineering and a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), combining technical and legal expertise in one profile, a true experienced practitioner.
He is listed on the FIDIC President's List of Adjudicators and acts frequently as a FIDIC Accredited International Trainer. As a member of FIDIC Task Group 8, he was Co-Author of the new Green Book 2021and currently serves as chair for FIDIC Task Group 19 – FIDIC Project Handbook. As FIDIC trainer he has lectures over 250 FIDIC training courses in many countries.
He is co-author of the bestseller “International Construction Contract Law”, linking practical experience with academic depth. Memberships in ICC, DIS, FIDIC, CIArb, GMAA, VBI, and DGA-Bau underline his strong international and professional network. He is frequently speaker at conferences and lecturer at universities.
